On this 4-day tour we will cover the 4 most popular destinations in Tanzania – Ndutu (2 nights), Ngorongoro Crater & Tarangire . With our experienced driver guides, it will be a trip of a lifetime! According to the last few years pattern, the possibility of sighting the migration is in the Ndutu region from last week of December to March. Hence, this tour is recommended for the tour date between January and March. Dinner and overnight at basic campsites.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and depart to Southern part of Serengeti Ndutu area
Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha) you will be met by Safari Africa United’s representative drive guide for orientation and there after , you will drive strait Serengeti National Park Ndutu passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Continue your journey around the crater and descend the other side, enjoying your free “African massage” on the bumpy road, passing through Masai villages on your way to the Southern Serengeti National Park. across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Hot lunch will be saved en-route towards the Southern of Serengeti with an incredible set up by your guide inside the bush.
The southern Serengeti National Park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife than anywhere else on the planet. You will have an unlimited drive until in the evening where you will drive straight to your campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day safari in Ndutu - Serengeti safari overnight in Ndutu
You will have your early morning breakfast in your accommodation there after you will start your morning game drive around the Southern part of Serengeti. Ndutu forms a part of the route for the annual migration of more than 2 million wildebeests and thousands of zebras, antelope and gazelle. During game drives at the right season between December and April, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the greoung wildebeest.After game viewing, you will now head towards a campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Ndutu safari Ngorongoro Crater overnight Karatu
Today you will depart early after your delicious breakfast to Ngorongoro crater with a game drive en-route around Ndutu area. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail.
This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide range of birds’ species, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. Hot Lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool and after that you will continue to explore the crater.
After exploration you will ascend the crater and drive straight to Migombani Campsite near MtowaMbu Village for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Karatu to Tarangire safari back to Arusha / flight
Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation drive straight to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 2 hours. Tarangire National Park is one of the largest parks of Tanzania that covers an area of 2,600 square Kilometres. Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. It also has a mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which consists of about 250,000 animals enter the park. More than 300-strong herds of elephant, visitors will find big groups of buffalo and healthy populations of lions and leopards. During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country.
You will have picnic lunch boxes where you will have them inside the park in the afternoon. After lunch and further game viewing, you will drive straight to Arusha or to the airport.

Recommended Tipping Amounts for Safari Trips:
Safari Guide: $20–$30 per day per group.
Safari Cook: $20–$30 per day per group (if on a camping safari trip)
For instance, if four travelers are on Kilimanjaro, each person could contribute $5.00 per day to make a one day tip for the driver-guide.
