Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi

Arrive Nairobi Airport, transfer and overnight in Nairobi

Day 2: Half day tour in Nairobi (B)

Half day tour in Nairobi including the elephant orphanage, Giraffe Center, and Karen Blixen House, time allowing.

Meals included: Breakfast

Day 3: Drive to Masai Mara, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Drive to Masai Mara with a stop for picnic lunch. On arrival, you  enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of black maned lions, elephants,  leopards, buffalo, rhino, and other game.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner      
Mid-Range Accommodations: Mara Sentrim Camp, Mara Sopa Lodge, or similar

Day 4: Masai Mara, full day game drive (BLD)

A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded  grassland and rolling hills. The Masai Mara is renowned for its great  herds of plains game, black maned lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephants.  For an extra cost, you can visit a local Maasai village or enjoy a hot  air balloon safari early in the morning.

Day 5: Drive to Lake Naivasha, hike in Hell's Gate National Park (BLD)

After breakfast, leave Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha National Park via  Nairobi with picnic lunch en route. On arrival, proceed for a nature  walk at the Hell's Gate National Park.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Lake Naivasha boat ride, drive to Amboseli, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Morning boat ride in Lake Naivasha. Drive to Amboseli game reserve  near the Tanzania border. Picnic lunch en route, check in at lodging,  and proceed for an afternoon game drive which provides a chance to see  elephants, lions, and many other plains game.

Day 7: Amboseli, morning and afternoon game drives  (BLD)

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 8: Drive from Amboseli to Arusha (BL)

Drive to Amboseli-Namanga border for customs and immigration in to Tanzania. Shuttle bus to Arusha, afternoon free.

Day 9: Drive to Lake Manyara or Tarangire, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Today your safari guide drives you from Arusha to Lake Manyara  (December-March) or Tarangire (June-October) with lunch en route for an  afternoon game drive.

Day 10: Drive to Serengeti, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Drive to the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive in search of the  migration (Ndutu area December-March and central Serengeti area  June-October).

Day 11: Serengeti, full day game drive (BLD) 

Enjoy a full day game drive in the remarkable Serengeti with a picnic lunch served mid-day.

Day 12: Drive to Ngorongoro via optional Olduvai Gorge and Maasai village (BLD)

Drive from the Serengeti to the scenic Ngorongoro Crater enjoying  wildlife viewing along the way. En route, you'll have options to visit  the Olduvai Gorge and/or an authentic Maasai village.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 13: Ngorongoro, half day game drive, drive to Arusha (BLD)

Enjoy a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. In the afternoon, return to Arusha via Mto Wa Mbu.
