Full Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli (LD)

Depart Nairobi for Amboseli game reserve near the Tanzania border.  Picnic lunch en route, check in at lodging, and proceed for an afternoon  game drive which provides a chance to see elephants, lions, and many  other plains game. NOTE: This can be a 5+ hour drive.

Day 2: Amboseli, morning and afternoon game drives (BLD)

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha, hike in Hell's Gate National Park (BLD)

After breakfast, leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha National Park via  Nairobi with picnic lunch en route. On arrival, proceed for a nature  walk at the Hell's Gate National Park.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha boat tour, drive to Masai Mara, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Breakfast and an hour boat ride to view and study different bird  life. Drive to Masai Mara with a stop for picnic lunch. On arrival, you  enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of black maned lions, elephants,  leopards, buffalo, rhino, and other game.

Day 5: Masai Mara game drive (BLD)

A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded  grassland and rolling hills. The Masai Mara is renowned for its great  herds of plains game, black maned lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephants.  For an extra cost, you can visit a local Maasai village or enjoy a hot  air balloon safari early in the morning.

Day 6: Early morning game drive, transfer to Nairobi (B)
