After, you will head back to the lodge for lunch before you set off for Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park, the home of Mountain Gorillas. You will drive for 1.5hours to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park and have a cultural visit to the Batwa people (The Pygmies) who were the indigenous people that used to stay in Bwindi Forest. Day 3: Gorilla Tracking Adventure
Wake up and prepare for the unforgettable experience. After an early morning breakfast, head to the UWA headquarters for briefing before setting off to the forest in search for gorillas. The time taken tracking these Giant apes is unpredictable; however, it ranges between 2-6 hours depending on their movement. Tracking goes through steep rocks climbing up and down before you find Gorillas Camouflaged in thick vegetation. However, the thrill of encountering these giant primates erases the poor memories you went through in trying to find them.
